  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:
I am very self-motivated and I always want to do my best.  But if I have an off day, I don't dwell on it.  I am very independent and organized -  I do not depend on other people for my sense of self-worth and my school work is always completed on time.  I am very responsible and task-oriented.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I have been a soccer team player since I was 5 years old so I know how important it is to be a positive member of a team.  Even though I do not intend to play soccer anymore, in order to focus on golf, I have learned how to work with other people.  I feel strong allegiance to my team and I am looking forward to meeting new friends who play golf.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
I would prefer to go to a college in the Northeast.  Academics are very important to me so I would like to attend an institution that values a good education.  I would like to be a part of a golf program that is competitive enough, but not so competitive that I would not be getting to play in the matches.
  6. My college goals are:
My goals are to graduate from a great academic university/college and probably go on to graduate school in my selected major, to enjoy playing on the school golf team while meeting new fellow golfers, and to get the full college experience.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
I am looking for a college golf coach who is able to help me improve my golf game and who is easy to approach if I need help with something either golf, academic, or socially-related.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:
The strengths of my golf game are my short game, using my height to get driving distance, and my level-headedness during tough situations.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
The weaknesses of my golf game are that I know that I can get even more distance on my drives and that I would like to perfect my putting.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
I think my golf game will continue to improve because I work very hard to be a better golfer.  I just began playing competitively last year and each year I set a goal to lower my scores in tournaments by the end of the summer.  Playing in higher level tournaments thiscoming summer will definitely help me to improve by continually playing and working hard to meet the challenges.
Personal Statement
I am willing to take on the extra time commitment to play on a college golf team.  Being responsible beyond academic requirements is something that I feel I could accomplish successfully since I am focused, independent, organized, and willing to learn.  Becoming a member of a college golf team would be a great way to meet other people who share my love of golf. I would like to continue to study academically at a high level while continuing to play competitive golf.
