  1. Golf Achievements: Singapore Junior Representative since 2005; Callaway Junior World Golf  (2005,2006,2007); 10 Top 3 finishes - 30 tournaments in Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, Hong Kong and Indonesia; Winner - Kuching Junior Open at age 15; Best Gross - SICC Junior Invitational (72,76,78) at age 16 (50 players from12 countries); Youngest SICC Ladies Club Champion (75,76,71) at age 18. Captain, Stevenson School Girls' Team, 2009/2010. 2009 Under Armour College Golf Combine All-American 2nd Team. 2009 First Team ALL- LEAGUE TCAL.

    1. Seven National Sports Colours Awards Including the Tri-County Athletic League Richard Chamberlin Sportmanship Award;
    2. Three National and Asia Pacific Gold Awards for dance and ballet competitions;
    3. Volunteered at Lexus Cup and LPGA Tournaments;
    4. Volunteered at First Junior Golf Foundation for less priviledged children.
     

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: My ability to excel in both golf and academics. I am sociable, enthusiastic and have a strong desire to do well for myself and the team.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: I enjoy team comradeship and I will be proud to be a part of a college team. I like the individual challenges and team competition while representing my college in golf.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: is preferrably in California or the East Coast, which has an excellent academic program and a golf team that will strive for the higest honors.
  6. My college goals are: 1. to excel in both acdemics and golf;
    2. to enjoy and benefit from the college experience;
    3. to improve on my golf and develop friendships within the team.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: I can relate to and understand, so that I can improve on my golf and as a person.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: Putting, chipping and mental strength. I focus and score well under pressure.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: My driving distance. But it has been improving with my current coach and gym training.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I have more opportunity to play in US tournaments and I work very hard. I have a good swing coach (Laird Small) and my gym training has improved my strength for longer drives. More importantly, my strong desire and ambition to play for an excellent team will spur me on to improve.
Personal Statement
I strive to excel in both academic and golf, to develop friendships within my golf team, and to enjoy as well as benefit from my college experience.
