All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: Varsity golf team at Foothill High School, Freshman –Senior year. Scholar Athlete Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Year.  Junior year (2009)- MVP, #1 rank, Co-Captain, 1st Team Seaview League, Medalist in 5 league matches.  June 2009 at Orange County High School Golf Championship- 3rd lowest score, 80, 5th place.  2008-2009 created 'Birdies for Blind Kids' - raised $3800 for the Blind Children's Learning Center of Orange County.  Represented Foothill High School in the 'Toshiba Shot from the Top' event in spring 2009- placed second and won 25 laptops for Foothill High School.  Summer 2008 placed first in two SCPGA tournaments.   
  2. Other Achievements: International Baccalaureate Candidate at Foothill High School. GPA 4.3. SAT I: 600 Reading, 650 Math, 690 Writing, 1940 Total. ACT: 28. Completed 4 AP classes. AP Scholar Award, Principals High Honor Roll Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Year. Freshman Academic Excellence Award in Social Science. Academic Awards of Excellence High GPA Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Year. Order of the Night Award for Math. President of Stock Club and Loaves and Fishes Club. Member of CSF, and two years in the Peer Tutoring Program. Member of National Charity League- held three executive offices: President, Recording Secretary, and Junior year liaison. Received Yellow Rose Bud Award in 2007, 2008, and 2009 for completing over 70 hours of charity work each year in NCL. 2009 received Founders Award for working at ten different charity organizations.  
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: Goal oriented, determined to succeed, outstanding execution and follow-through. Competitive- strive to be the best. Challenge myself with golf and school to participate at the highest level. Accomplish best results under pressure- know how to prioritize commitments: school, golf, and charity work. 
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:  I like to be a member of a group or team. I get and give energy to peers- good sense of humor, love to laugh, important for me to be a positive force and help motivate others to succeed. Think of myself as a leader and partner of a team.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:  Competitive program that will challenge me and develop my golf game to the highest level. A program that will allow me to play golf year-round and excel in my academics. 
  6. My college goals are:  Degree in Engineering with a minor in Biology. Continue after four years into a graduate program or Medical School. Study abroad.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:  Challenging, supportive, good sense of humor, approachable. Someone to help set a path/program for me to take my game to the next level. 
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:  Solid swing- good fundamentals. Good at analyzing cause and effect of my swing. Mentally focused on the golf course.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:  Conditioning (currently) for multiple days of 18 holes. Continue to work on accuracy of short game and putting to shave 3 to 4 strokes off each round.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: My game will improve tremendously with the ability to play year-round in competitive tournaments, and daily practice as a member of a college team.
