All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:

I was fortunate enough to secure a position on the Coronado HS Golf Team NV my freshman year and maintained a position on the team through my junior year when we won the 2010 NIAA NV State Championship.  Relocated to MD my senior year and played for Northwest HS, Germantown MD where we won a Divisional Championship and I was awarded the Jaguar Award (MVP).  I participated in the Plantation Junior Golf Tour.  Though I did not play the full season, I qualified for the Tour Champ. at Perdue University which was my first 54 hole tournament play.  During this tournament, I accomplished not having one three putt and was able to break par during tournament conditions.

  2. Other Achievements:

I began learning Classical guitar in my junior year in high school and qualified to play at Regional’s.  Was one of thirty out of 110 to qualify to play at State qualifier.  I have recently graduated from high school and I am eager to pursue higher education.

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:

I’m a bit of a perfectionist but understand that nothing is given to you, that hard work is necessary to accomplish any goal.  I will do what it takes get my education and improve myself as a person and my game for the next level and beyond.

  4. I will be a good college teammate because:

I know teamwork is not all about one individual.  I understand I need to improve in my golf game and that it is not all about me; the other members on a team are also working hard to better themselves and we must strive as a team.   I was awarded the Jaguar Award for my dedication in helping my teammates in improving their game for the betterment of the team.  If I can help in any way, I will. My parents instilled in me the value in respecting others and hard work which I believe is a good foundation.

  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:

The university and golf program that I am looking for is one that allows me to pursue my academic endeavors and has a golf program that will help develop my golf skills, course management and mental game striving to perform a service for the program.

  6. My college goals are:

Goals – Graduate with a degree in Architecture, design some awesome landscape/structures and to take my golf game to a new levels. Be a team member that the others can count on and help the team to win.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
Would challenge me to improve myself both on and off the course; be straight with me and upfront when I’m out of place and offer guidance in time of need.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:

I strike the ball well.  Rarely, am I out of play/fairway.  I have no fear on the course and I’m not afraid of having to perform. I love the challenge and pressure.

  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:

My weak area would have to be my chipping/pitching. I know that this is where the money is and I place an emphasis on it during practice. This is where I spend most of my time during my practice sessions. I’m working very hard to improve this and it’s paying off.

  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:

I believe that I can improve and understand the work it takes to get there.  I am not afraid of what I have to do in order to improve and I’m more than willing to make this happen.
