All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:
I have played over 150 competitive tournament rounds on over 7 junior tours with wins on two of those.  In 2012, my undefeated HS team won seven tournaments including the GHSA AAAAA Region 6 and STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. I played number two on our undefeated 2011 High School golf team as a sophomore. After finishing runner up at region, we placed 3rd out of 16 teams in the 2011 GHSA AAAAA (largest in state) State Championship. My 12th place overall finish of the 72 participants helped our team in this accomplishment.  I enjoyed making a contribution and being a contributor to the team's performance. Having played in so many tournamnets for many years making friends across the southeast and having played on two very successful HS teams, I understand that college golf is a team sport and that personal interaction among teammates is an important part.
  2. Other Achievements:
I enjoy singing, both pop and classical style.  I began classical voice training at the age of ten.  In 2011, I was voted to GA All Sate Chorus.  I am a member of a senior dance company participating in ballet, jazz and contemporary performances across Georgia.  Member of Girls Scouts of America for 10 years.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:
First of all, I am an honor roll student, participating in above level and advanced curriculums.  Academics will always be at the forefront of my college responsibilities, yet I look forward to contributing to a team with my personal athletic abilities and strengths.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I will be supportive of my teammates accomplishments and needs while trying my very best to add value to the team through a positive personality and strong playing ability. I played on a AAAAA State Chamionship golf team my junior and finished in the Top 20 in the State!
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
...will value academics and athletics as well as a good quality of life.
  6. My college goals are:
To obtain a 4 year degree while participating as a student athlete.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
...likes their job and values the accomplishments of the team while recognizing that academics and a solid post-college life are the ultimate goal.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:
...a positive attitude, mental approach, driving accuracy, putting and over 140 competitive tournament rounds (experience).
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
    ...short game consistencey.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
...I will put forth the effort to improve upon my weaknesses while strengthening every aspect of the game.  My body has only recently reached the level of physical development that will allow me to perform to my best ability.
