All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: I am a 3 year varsity letter winner, & was a member of the 2006 2A Wyoming State Girls Golf Championship team. In 2006 I was selected to the Wyoming Coaches Association All-State Girls Golf Team, & in 2007 I was selected to the Powder River Coaches All Conference Team. I am a member of the 2007 & 2008 NE Class C Conference Championship team,  the 2008 District Championship team, & the 2008 class C Nebraska Girls State Championship team. Individually I have won the 2008 District Tournament, the Broken Bow Invitational, and the Kearney Jr. Golf Classic. Other accomplishments during the 2008 golf season include placing in the Top Ten in each of my last 10 tournaments as well as dropping my stroke average to an 83,  an 11 stroke improvement from my sophomore season.
  2. Other Achievements: In 2006 I recieved the Russel Olmsted Citizenship Award from Lusk Middle School, and in 2008 I recieved the American Citizenship Award from Kearney Catholic High School. Also in 2006 I was awarded the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for maintaining above a 3.5 GPA during golf season.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I am very strong minded and confident both in golf and acedemics. I am also very goal oriented. I set alot of small goals for both my acedemics and golf. I enjoy goal setting because it shows accomplishment and gives me confidence.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: I will be a great college teammate because I am very easy to get along with. I would like to think of myself as a people person and have no problem meeting new people and making new friends. Along with individually meeting my expectations it is very important to me how the team plays as well. So far for me I have really enjoyed playing on Championship teams, and love the team atmosphere.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
I am looking for a University that will prepare me most for my future career (Marketing or Business) and is larger than 8,000 students. I would like to attend a larger University because I enjoy being able to meet new people. I also don't have a preference between Public or Private. I am looking for a golf program where I can be accepted and am surrounded by teammates who love the game as much as myself. I would also like to have teammates that are willing to get to know me.
  6. My college goals are: Acedemically I would like to maintain a 3.8 grade point average or higher. In terms of playing golf I would like to lower my score each year and play with the top five girls on the team. I would also like to place in each tournament to my expectations.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: I would like to play golf  for a coach who is willing to really help my game and take me to a new level. I would like to feel as though they believe in my goals as much as I believe in them. I would also like a coach who takes the time to get to know me and my playing style.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: My strengths are short to mid-range putts, chipping, pitching, and most of my iron game.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: The weaknesses in my golf game at this point are long putts, my long irons, and consistancy off the tee.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: My golf game will continue to improve because I am always open to help and changes and ultimately because I am willing to put the time and effort in that it takes to become better. I truly believe in myself and the potential I have on the golf course and in other aspects of my life.
Personal Statement
I feel as though I have improved immensely from working on my game this summer. I didn't play as well as i would've like during the summer as I was making some much needed swing  changes. I have now begun to shoot the scores that I expect from myself, and am looking forward to golf this fall!
