All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:  2008 was my first full season of tournament golf.  Many of those tournaments had modified tees or only played nine holes.  For 2009, I started playing the longer tees and have had varying success.  At the MAPGA Spring Fling at Canon Ridge I had an opening round 77 (two shots off the lead), but closed with an 86 and finished 11 out of 24.  The experience was great because I was playing against the older more experienced girls.
  2. Other Achievements: Outside of golf I really enjoy playing basketball.  This year I lead my team to its first championship.  I am also very proud of the fact that as a sixth grader I completed my high school requirement for volunteering.  I have put in nearly 100 volunteer service hours.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:  I work hard at my school work and work hard at my game.  But I also make certain that I have time for friends, family and other sports.  I think to be a good student-athlete you have to be more than just a golfer.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:  In my community I have tried very hard to get other girls involved in golf, but it has been hard.  I look forward to being on a team and having others who enjoy my interest in the game around me.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:  Challenge me in the classroom, on the course and prepare me for life after college.
  6. My college goals are:  ((Have not formed yet))
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:  I hit a lot of fairways.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:  I am not as long off the tees as many others.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:  With my coach we have completely revamped my swing and I am developing much more power and maintaining my accuracy.  I had a somewhat upright swing, now I am more flat and on piece.  The swing I am developing now will stay with me a long time.
