All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: As a freshman, I was number 2 on varsity.  I finished 2nd in the Three Rivers Conference and helped our team to a victory.  I also helped my team advance to Regionals and was voted Most Promising.  As a sophomore, I placed 3rd in the Rochester Invite, finished 2nd in the Three Rivers Conference, and also placed 3rd at the Stonehenge Sectionals to advance to Regionals as an individual.  My junior year, I placed 2nd at the Rochester Invite, 2nd at the Three Rivers Conference, and 2nd at the Stonehenge Sectional and advanced to Regional as an individual.  I recieved the Most Valuable Player award both as a sophomore and junior, along with Team Captain.  Summer of 2008 I won the Marshall County Junior Tour.
  2. Other Achievements: I was recently inducted into the National Honor Society.  I also participate in many school clubs such as; Varsity Club, Spanish Club, Environmental Club, Yearbook, Student Council, Key Club and Prom Commitee.  I am currently employed at Mystic Hills Golf Club in Culver, Indiana.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I consider myself to be very self motivated.  I love the game of golf and I will do whatever I can to make myself a better player.  I am also a quick learner and when I am taught something it doesn't take much for me to catch on.  I am a very competitive person and I know I am a leader.  I have determination, desire, and a strong work ethic to not only be a successful player myself, but to help out my teammates.  I carry over the same mentalities in my school work.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: Golf is an individual sport but it is also a team sport.  Some people lose sight of this and focus solely on themselves, however, I do not.  I'm willing to help my teammates out when possible, and I would want them to do the same for me.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: I'm looking to play on a team with great chemistry and great coaches.
  6. My college goals are: To earn a great degree, be a part of a team that loves the game as much as I do, and to learn and grow as a person.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: I am looking for a golf coach who I feel comfortable around and that will help me not only with golf but life in general.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: I would'nt say that I have a specific strength because I am always looking for ways to make every part of my golf game better.  However, I think I have the strength and the will to work through my weaknesses.  I have a strength of realizing what I do wrong and fixing it myself.  I also think I have great course management.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:

I have struggled in the past with recovering from a string of bad shots.  As I mature I am getting out of that phase and I realize every golfer will have bad shots occasionally.

  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I know I have the potential to be considered a great golfer and I have such a strong determination to make myself a collegiate athlete in this sport.
