  2. Other Achievements:
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:

I am very focused and work equally hard on academics and improving my golf game.  I socialize well with others.  Being part of a team and competeing at a higher level is very exciting to me.

  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I do enjoy playing on my high school golf team.  Even though golf is an individual sport, you get support from team members which helps in competition.  I do want to succeed as an individual, but being part of a winning college team would be great.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
is in Texas or a nearby state which offers excellent academics and a well coached competitive golf team.
  6. My college goals are:

To excel academically, make new friends, contribute to the success of my golf team, and enjoy the entire college experience.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
Is accessible and easy to communicate with, played at the collegiate and/or professional level, is willing to help me achieve my ultimate goal of playing professionally after college.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:

Fairways and greens in regulation, course management, and abiliity to keep my emotions in check.

  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:

Chipping and putting, but working very hard to improve both.

  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
I am willing to work very hard, have an open mind, and can take criticism and instruction well.  Currently working with two of the top golf instructors in the state of Texas.
Personal Statement
I have a friendly outgoing personality with a great sense of humor.  I never take myself too seriously.  I am dedicated to earning good grades and doing whatever it takes to improve my golf game.  I consider myself to be a team player.  I am always open to suggestions and willing to listen to helpful advice on and off the golf course.
