All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: I won the Under Armour West Combine with a score of 69, and have also been very high on the points list for SCPGA for the last two years.  Made Under Armour All American Second Team.  Made the 2010 Western Junior All Star Team on the JAGS Junior Tour.
  2. Other Achievements: Outside of golf for the past 3 years I have been on the Principal's Academic Honor Roll.  I am also a 3 year starter for my high school's varsity basketball team.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: Education is a first, for me, but golf comes in a close second.  I would love to play at a school that offers a great education and has a solid golf program, where I can play and become the best of my ability.  I look forward to taking a look at any school that has both a good education and good golf program.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: My top priority is to do what is best for the team, before myself.   Playing varsity basketball teaches you to be a good teammate and encourage those around you.  You have to be a POSITIVE teammate.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: would have a small school atmosphere with a big school feeling.  A golf program that takes care of its athletes, and gets its players ready for competition is what everybody looks for in a golf program.  On my side of the spectrum I want that and a team that unites as one and helps motivate each other.
  6. My college goals are: to get a degree in sports medicine, and win an ncaa title for team and individual honors.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: has a positive way of thinking and does what is best for his players, whether it be a team building practice or a grueling 4 hour weight training and running practice. That is what you need in a coach.  Coaches need to have the Dr. Jekyll side and Mr. Hyde side.  If the coach is doing what he thinks is best for the team, then us as players, need to take his initiative.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: accuracy, consistency, and chipping, along with improving my distance and putting.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: distance, and putting at times.  My putting is like a rollercoaster and I need to make it more consistent.  My distance is something I need to be determined to improve, along with putting, by getting onto a weight program.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I am striving for my goal to play college golf, and ever since I have put the effort forward I have been lowering my scores dramatically and ended up winning tournaments and competing.  I would be honored to play college golf for a team that will improve with my presence.  I am working with David Hobby an ex- touring pro and also Kris Brown a teacher from the Titleist Performance Institute.  I need to be consistent on my practicing as well, and as that comes my scores will definitely keep getting better and better.
