All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: High School Golf: Made the Varsity Team as a Freshman and also was voted by our school as the MVP in boys golf for 2008.  Qualified for the State High School Championship 2 years in a row. I have played in many local Hawaii tournaments from Junior events like, HSJGA, OJGA, and other non-junior state events like the Manoa Cup. I have competed against Juniors and Professional golfers in these events and I am very comfortable at that level.
  2. Other Achievements:

I really enjoy photography and have taken a few classes in my school, and have had my pictures win some in class competitions.

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: The attributes that I feel that would make me a good college student and athlete golfer would be my organization skills and time management skills that I have learned, and working hard and just doing more than what is expected of me. I have had to adjust to keeping on top of my school assignments and my commitment to my golf tournaments and practice for years now.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:  I feel that I am unselfish and I am willing to always drop personal things, in order to help my team or another teammate. I am currently doing this with my high school teammates, where I help train them on the course. I love to help other succeed also.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:  Will provide me with a great education and a golf program where I can help contribute to a winning season.
  6. My college goals are: To graduate in international business, and to get my MBA.
To make the first string traveling golf team.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: Can inspire his team to greatness. Is not afraid to take chances in a young player, so that they can prove to him what hard work can produce.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: The strength of my game is my mental game. I keep very level emotionally and just go out and have fun. My short game has really improved in the last two years to where I am saving a lot more par's. I use a lot of re-framing to release bad shots and I use the word Intention to create success in my life and in my game.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: Since my dad told me once that golf is not a perfect game, I feel that everything in golf needs your constant attention. If not my weakness will show under pressure. My coach is always teaching me ways to develop high percentage shots, instead of riskier fancier shots.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:  I think my game will continue to improve because I am enjoying the ride, it's been so much fun in the last 13 years of playing golf. I want to gain even more knowledge and experience to really make an all out effort in trying to make a college team. I am also working hard with my personal trainer to get even stronger in my core and legs, to create even more power in my swing.
