All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: I was first team all conference during my senior year of highschool. I qualified for the Maryland Highschool Golf State Championship individually and made the cut for the 2nd day. I recieved the John D. Funk scholarship award from my highschool, which is awarded to a golfer who performs well and shows great work ethic. I then went on to attend the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy as a post graduate to give me time to get ready for college golf.
  2. Other Achievements: Made the honor roll multiple times during highschool. Helped coach my brothers football team to a championship. I won MVP for my football and baseball teams multiple times.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I have a very good work ethic. Ill be out on the golf course from sun up to sun rise when Im not working maintenance at my golf course. I work hard in school to get the best grades I can by doing my homework and particapating in class.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: I put forth the effort to be respected by the rest of my teammates. I go out there and try to enjoy myself as much as I can, and I listen to what I am being told, and I like to help out others around me. I have a very good sense of humor, and because of that i get along with a lot of people. I am probably the most laid back person anyone will meet.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: Can educate me in the fields of academics that interest me, and in a program that competes at their level and strives to be the best they can possibly be.
  6. My college goals are: To graduate with a bachelors degree in the major of my choice, and to win a national championship. I want to be the best.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: Knows the game of golf well. A coach that competed in a high level of competition and can share their experiences with me to help out my golf game. A coach with a good sense of humor because i like to joke around a lot and have fun.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: I feel the strength of my game is my iron play and the ability to shape shots. I hit some of my best shots when I have to shape a ball around, under or over an obstacle. I love having the ability to shape shot whatever way I need to. I feel there is no pin location I cant attack when Im striking the ball the way I know I can.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: Putting, I don't 3 putt that often, Im a solid lag putter. Im having trouble making birdies. I stick the ball close to the pin from the fairway and I dont convert. Off the tee I tend to get a little wild. I feel that is just course management, putting the driver away when I should hit a wood or long iron.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: Because I have great work ethic. If there is a part of the game I struggle with I will work on it till I feel its where I need to be. I just love the game and love to compete too much not to improve.
