All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:
I have made the Varsity girl's golf team each year at San Marcos High School, earning MVP my Sophomore and Junior years.  I qualified for CIF San Diego Section Championships the last two seasons making the second day cut each time finishing 25th and 50th respectively.  In 2009 I was Medalist in the seven High School Escondido City Cup winning by five shots.  Overall in 54 matches I have earned 24 medalists.  I recently shot 79-76 to win the overall Junior Club Championship at Shadowridge Country Club.  I was chosen team Captain my junior and upcoming senior seasons.  First team All League Sophomore and Junior seasons.
  2. Other Achievements:
I have earned a 3.83 college prep GPA through high school, while taking 8 AP and Honors classes through my junior year, with 3 more AP my Senior year.  Chosen San Diego Union Tribune's All Academic Team 2009.

I was chosen by the San Marcos High Principal to be one of the twelve "Knights of the Round Table" to mentor local elementary school kids.  I am active with my church participating in youth group fund raising and youth activities.

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:
I am very good at balancing a tough class work load  with my golf.  I am a very responsible person who understands what my priorities are, and what it takes to accomplish them.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I care about people and will do my best to be a team friend, and because my commitment to be the best I can be will be appreciated.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
has a group of well-balanced girls, positive attitudes, and a supportive coach. I am looking for a University wish offers a high quality education, a spirted student body, and a fun atmosphere.
  6. My college goals are:
Making the golf team, playing all four years, majoring in Business, and meeting amazing people.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
Is supportive throughout the year, encourages the team, a good communicator, and has the ability to take my game to new levels.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:
Driving, putting, mid irons, chipping, and performing under pressure.  I am even tempered, which allows me to stay mentally focused during the round.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
Hilly fast greens, releasing the club more down the line, and dropping during the take away.  My focus this year has been on improving these areas.  I am happy to see my results this summer are benefiting from the work.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
of my competitive drive to excel, my mental toughnest to manage my game, and because I live in an environment where my parents and coaches support me to do the best I can in the sport I love.
