- Golf Achievements: I have had much success with the game of golf over the years. As I grow older, the competition increased which was a good challenge for me. I am a very competitive person and I do not like to lose. In my high school golf career, I have played the number one spot for all three years so far. I am a leader on the team. My sophomore year, I won districts and was announced player of the year. At state, i placed fourth. This last season, my junior year, I defended my district title and was player of the year again. I was runner up at State and was asked to play in the Jeld-Winn tradition this summer. Team-wise, we have had a great team. We were state runner ups my freshman and sophomore year and we won the state championship this year! Outside of school, I have played in many local tournaments and a few out of state ones as well. I have been to the OGA Tournament of Champions two years in a row due to winning several tournaments over the summer.
- Other Achievements: Outside of golf, i have also experienced success. In the class room, i am at the top of my class. I have the highest GPA and I am a member of the National Honors Society. I am very dedicated to doing my best at whatever I do. I receive a school wide science and history award last fall. This spring, I was awarded the Bausch and Lomb Science Award. I also helped my basketball team go to the state tournament. We took third place, which was a school record.
- Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I will be a good student-athlete in college because I already know what it is like to be a student-athlete at a challenge school. I attend a college preparatory school. The courses can be extremely challenging at times. However, I have learned over the years how to balance school and golf. I plan ahead and know when I will be missing class. I talk to teachers about what I will be missing and how I will be able to get caught up. I am a smart person but if I do not understand something, I am not afraid to ask questions. I have learned how to make the most of class time when I am missing a lot of school. I am dedicated and focused. I have learned how to cut distractions when I am studying and i have developed ways to maximize my studying time.
- I will be a good college teammate because: I will be a good college teammate because I am a team player. I am not selfish and I will always do my part to improve my game to help the team. I have a strong work ethic and I am very focused. Not only do i work hard, but I am fun to be around. I love to have fun. This is an important aspect to me. Golf is a fun sport to play, especially when it is going great. However, there are bad days. One those days, it is important to have a teammate who can build you up to be your best. I strive to build up my team by being encouraging and working hard on my own game. I lead by example. I am friendly and easy to talk to. I can tell when someone is upset and wants to talk or when someone just wants to be alone. It is essential to be a good friend to a teammate. I am accountable and i will be there for my team.
- I am looking for a university and golf program that: I am looking for a university that will open me up to new experiences. I want to branch out and try new things. I want a university where I can feel safe and comfortable when I need it to. I am looking for a university with a nice campus and decent weather. In a golf program, I am looking for a place where I can improve. I really want to expand and develop my game. I want a golf program that supports me and helps me develop.
- My college goals are: My college goals are somewhat vague at this point in time. I do not know what i want to do with my life or where I want to. So one of my goals is find out what I am passionate about and how I can utilize that passion. I want to discover new things and met new people. I believe that college is a time to grow and learn. I am very ambitious and i want to discover as much as possible. I do know that I want to play college golf and become the best player possible.
- I am looking for a college golf coach that: I am looking for a college golf coach that can help me become the best I can be. I want a coach that challenges me and helps me succeed. I am looking for a coach that I can easily talk to and one that I feel comfortable talking to.
- The strengths of my golf game are: One of my biggest strengths in my golf game is my driving off the tee. I hit the ball very far and accurate. My driver gives me a confidence boost if something else is not going as planned. i am also a very good putter. There are many times that my putter has saved me during a round. I also have a strong mental game. I do not get upset after one shot goes wrong. I stay with till the very end. I don't let myself give up. I can also filter out distractions while I am playing. I try to focus on the positive things while I am playing.
- The weaknesses of my golf game are: My short game used to be the biggest weakness in my game. However, that is changing. I am no longer scared of difficult chips or awkward lies. But it is still needs work. I am constantly working on my short game so it is not a weakness. As of now, I would say it is no longer a weakness but it is not a strength. Weakness often change as i work on things that stick out as being weak. So it is hard for me to pick out one area that is consistently a weakness. I may struggle with my short game for a while but it gets better and then i have to work on an aspect of my swing. then i might have to work on hitting from bunkers.
- I think my golf game will continue to improve because: My golf game will continue to improve because i am dedicated to putting in the time and effort that it takes to improve. I work hard and i am very passionate about golf. I am competitive and I continue to work to be the best. Winning is fun and I like to win. I have the resources necessary to improve my game. One of the best feelings to me is getting better at something. It makes me so happy to master something that i could not do before. This is why my game will continue to improve. It is because its fun to get better and to me, that is worth the time that it will take.
Nothing to say at the moment.

I also play basketball for my high school. It is a great sport to play during the winter to keep me in shape when i cannot be on the golf course. Last year, my team went to the state tournament and we finished third.
