All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:  Ranked 1st in the Capital Region Junior League for two consecutive seasons (2006 & 2007), Runner-up at the 2007 Venezuela Amateur Championship, Member of Venezuela Amateur Team at the South American Amateur Champioship in 2007, Qualified for the 2008 Junior World in San Diego representing Costa Rica, Semi-finalist at the 2009 Costa Rica National Match Play Championship.
  2. Other Achievements: Obtained 2nd place twice at the Math Olympics at the French School of Caracas (2002-2004), Reached 2nd stage (out of 3) on the Costa Rica High School Math Olympics (2008)
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:  I am a well organized student who has managed to maintain excellent academic results along with great results on the golf course with discipline. Besides, my vast cultural background allows me to adapt very quickly to any environment: I speak fluent English, Spanish and French.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:  I love the ambiance of working on a team as well as any individual challenge. I will give my best for the team and I will support all of my teammates.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:  balance high quality academics with excellent competitive golf level.
  6. My college goals are:  to get my college degree in a well recognized institution as I take my golf game to a new competitive level. Since I am an international player, I also seek to grow as a person while I am away from home.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:  will help me improve my skills and guide me through my college golf career. I am looking for a college golf coach that will help me to grow as a golfer and as a person.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:  Bunker play, pitch shots, putting, driving, course management, distance control.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:  Greens in regulation.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I am a disciplined, hard-working and competitive individual who always seeks for improvement and because I work with a great golf teacher who is John Elliott, Jr. (Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers, and Golf Digest Top 25 Teachers).
