All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:
I have had the privilege of being the number one starter on my co-ed golf team at Kastner Intermediate School; and the number one starter for four years on the girls golf team at Clovis West High School. I was awarded the 2009 Tri River Athletic Conference Player of the Year.  I am four-time: MVP, First Team All-City, All-Conference, All-Valley, and Scholar Athelete. I am additionally the charter member of the varsity girls golf 70s club. I was a Junior Advisor for JGANC in 2008 and volunteer to assist the coach of the Kastner Intermediate Girls Golf Team.  Set new women's course record at Lemoore GC with a 68 on 7-14-08. 2010 Fresno Bee Player of the Year.  2010 Senior Girl Athlete of the Year.

  2. Other Achievements:
I have volunteered countless hours at the V.A. Hospital where I help wounded veterans. At my high school I have received the Principal's Honor Roll throughout my tenure. I am a member of the Principal's Advisory on Student Affairs which is a student leadership group that shares ideas and concerns with the principal and high school staff and the Jr. Larcs Club that helps special needs students. Finally, I received the Rutherford B. Gaston Sr. Youth Scholar Recognition Award, Principal's  Medallion Award and CSF Lifetime Achievement Award for Academic Excellence.

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:
I am a perfectionist. I won't settle for anything less than the best in both my academics and golf . Over the years I have had to balance practicing and traveling to play in tournaments with my shcoolwork and in spite of many sleepless nights I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. I committ to a daily practice regimen in hopes of one day acheiving my goal of becoming an LPGA tour professional. I take my practice sessions very seriously, incorporating many realistic scenarios that I may encounter in tournament play. Additionally, I've read several books on the mental aspect of golf and strive not to neglect its importance. Finally, I have a strict fitness program with the strength trainer at my country club to build on my flexibility and core strength.

  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I get along very well with others. I feel that I am a reliable person and a constructive communicator.  I have played team golf since intermediate school and have really learned the foundation and pillars upon which team golf is built. My team had awesome comraderie and with that strong bond we were able to make history, becoming four-time valley champions. We made time off the course to bond as well, getting together at a teammates's house for dinner and games on weekends. This was our time to share some laughs and really let our hair down.

  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
I am looking for a diversely populated university with a combination of both a strong academic and golf program. I would prefer  close proximity to home and an environment conducive to a young adult.

  6. My college goals are:
I primarily  want to major in business and maintain my good grades.  As far as golf, I'd like to win a NCAA Championship and become the number one collegiate golfer.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
I am looking for a knowledgeable and motivational coach. I believe that the coach plays a significant role and contributes immensely to their team's success. The ideal coach is a good listener, treats everyone individually, and leads by example.

  8. The strengths of my golf game are:
My strengths are my mental game, course management, short game, driving distance, and endurance.

  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
My weakness is my constant quest for perfection. Sometimes I get in my own way and try too hard instead of merely letting things happen.

  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
I am self-driven and highly motivated to be the best that I can be.
