All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:

I won several small tournaments when I began 3 years ago, including the SCPGA - Catalina. As the only Freshman on my Varsity team I made it to the 2008 CIF SS Individual Finals and was named to the All-Valley League and the Southwest League 1st team. In my 1st AJGA Preseason tournament I placed 8th.  I experienced my first Match paly tournament in 2009 at the CA State Girls Championship and made it to the round of 16. I followed this up by again making the All - Valley team and the SW League 1st team. We have a very competitive league for Southern CA and I am very proud that our team also made it to the 2009 CIF Regionals for the first time in school history..

  2. Other Achievements: I am in Student Senate and also play Girls Varsity Water Polo. I was nominated as student athelete of the month - Nov 2008 as a freshman and October 2009 as a sophmore.   I hope to be able to take a student trip to Europe next year with my Leadership class.  I am also really good at cards:) and play Ping Pong when my brother will let me.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I have always liked school and enjoy learing. I have done at least two sports and school my entire life. I have been on travel teams and learned how to plan for schoolwork and have assignments prepared.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: I am funny. I get along well with everyone and am able to make my friends relax. I support the team first.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: Has a competitive and fun girls team and good academics.
  6. My college goals are: Play golf and enjoy my college life and figure out what I want to do. Maybe a teacher.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:

Would help me reach my goals and keep a fun team enviornment.

  8. The strengths of my golf game are:

Driving and chipping.  I have ALOT of power, but need to learn how to keep in under control.

  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: Distance control. I hit the ball over the green when I get excited. Also Putting, even though I got a new putter I really like.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I work hard and am competitive. I have played different sports my entire life including, roller hockey, ice hockey ( I was the goalie and played defense), soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball (where I was the catcher) and know how important purposeful practice is to the improvement of your game. I did well as a Freshman and Sophmore and continue to set some high goals for myself.
