  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:

Because I have learned how to use my time wisely,  I am able to spend many hours on the course and with friends while also keeping my grades up.  I am proud of what I can accomplish when I am focused and have my priorities straight!

  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I am a very happy out-going person. With my High School team I love cheering my teammates on!  I am a positive thinker and I lift my teamates up when they are feeling nervous, or are having a rough day.  I have learned from all my years in soccer that having a strong  united team is important for success.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
A school that has a great academic program with a strong golf team!  An environment where I can grow and be pushed to my full potential in golf and academics is also very important.  Lastly school spirit!  I know I am going to be full of spirit and I would love it if the whole university was too!
  6. My college goals are:
    - I want to do very well academically, giving me options
    - work hard so I can be number one on my college golf team
    - Keep improving my game
    - make long lasting freindships
    - Win an NCAA Championship
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
Is enthusiastic about the game!  Also a coach that truly understands the game of golf, that can help my game in areas they see fit.  Everyone gets pumped up and ready to go differently, I would like a coach that can relate to their players, and understands what gets them motivated and playing their best, whether its yelling, encouraging, silence (ex).  For me, when I aim encouraged and complimented I tend to play better then if I was just yelled at.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:
I am very strong mentally, which allows me to come back from a bad shot, round, or hole.  Also my short game is strong.  I know that putting = $$$   haha
In my practice I focus more on chipping and putting than ball striking.

I am also used to playing in wind and rain because I am from Washington!
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
70 yrds out.  Also I need to improve on my 40-65 yrd bunker shots.
I am also working on focusing on the shot ahead of me. Too often my mind wonders to previous shots, or the outcome of my round before I am done.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
I have a set of goals, and I set goals before every tournament.  I want to win, and that keeps me out there practicing.  After I won High School State my  freshman year, I trained harder so I could win my Sophmore year, and I did. Now I am going to try and win my Junior year.  I love the game of golf, and I want to see how good I can get.  Also I am now working with Joe Thiel full time.
