  2. Other Achievements:

I was awarded Sportsman of the Year in 2009.  For the past 4 years, I received the CEO award presented by the school for me.  I also received the Sportsman of the Year award in the year 2007 .  I always play field soccer in school.

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:

I am willing to strike a balance between golf and school. It’s hard work but for me to be a successful golfer, I am willing to take the challenge, eventhough I have to work extra hard.  I am fully aware that it is important for me to complete my studies for me to be a successful golfer.

  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I am in the elite national squad and represent Malaysia in team events.  We recently played in the Putra Cup where we finished in 4th position.  We also played in the South East Asian Games in December and also finished 4th.

I am often away playing tournaments which are in malaysia and near by international countries.  I am used to playing for a team.  I am very adaptable and I get along well with others.

  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:

Will enable me to achieve my goals of getting a degree in marketing or business studies or something similar to that and allow me to grow as a golfer at the same time. I am also looking for  a golf program that would provide me with the opportunity to play frequently with the top players and supported by experienced coaches.

  6. My college goals are:

To graduate with a degree and to be a stronger golfer. To experience playing college golf where all the best players in the world have played .And when I can, after graduation, I intend to turn pro.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:

Can help me strengthen my mental part of this game and who has had experience on the "how to" get on to the US tour.

  8. The strengths of my golf game are:

Driving, putting, and saving shots.  My desire to win.  My ability to try new shots, experiment possible situations.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
Sometimes, I get a little distracted and lose focus and concentration.  Need to be stronger in this aspect of the game.  I also need to stop expecting each shot to be perfect.

  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:

I have the love for this game. I am headed the right way with the many opportunities my parents are creating for me to play in amateur tournaments and international tournaments.  I constantly challenge myself to play better and better everyday.  So far, my personal best is 5-under par and I really believe that I can get my score to go lower.
