All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:
Freshman year I helped start and lead my school's golf team. I was the medalist in all my matches that year and won against all the no. 1 players in my league the following year. I have been the golf captain, play the no. 1 position, and have received MVP honors for the past three years. I have also won a spot in the the Lake of Isles Jr. Golf Scholarship Program for the past two years.
This spring I finished as a co-champion of the Founders League Championship with a one over par (38) at Watertown CC. Throughout my entire high school career I have had 41 wins, 4 losses, and was medalist 41 times in the no. 1 position.

  2. Other Achievements:
Last summer I was an assistant coach with the Simsbury chapter of Special Olympics golf. In addition, I had an internship with Special Olympics producing graphic art materials. This year I will continue to coach the golf team.
After taking our school's first Chinese class, I placed second in the CT World Language Poetry Recitation Contest last year. This past year I took all honors courses available as well as AP Art and AP Chemistry. I also took first place in the East Granby Library Art Show.
I helped start the anime club at my school and am a co-head of our school's athletic council, circle of helping hands, and am head of chemistry club and multimedia club. I was also voted as Captain of the Varsity Ski Team and won the Coach's Award.
I am a music major and play the violin, saxophone, piano, and drums while singing with Voce Felice.
This year I plan to take honors courses and AP Psychology and AP Statistics.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:
are my work ethic and skills in balancing my school work and my golf practices. I work hard in both academics and sports to reach the goals that I set for myself. Also, my enthusiastic spirit helps me make friends inside the classroom and out on the course.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
I am open and willing to accept new ideas and work together. My teamates would also be able to count on me because I am responsible and dependable.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
is both challenging in academics and golf. By having a challenge, this would make me work harder and greatly help me improve in both areas.
  6. My college goals are:
to truly gain the ultimate benifits from my college experience. I would like to make strong friendships and receive a good education.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
is encouraging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the game of golf.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:
my long game accuracy which helps me reach the green in regulation, and my mental game which keeps me fighting for every stroke to the last hole.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
my chipping. I have been working very hard this year to perfect my chipping with my coach.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
I never give up and persevere until I reach my goal. I will always continue to enjoy golf and have the fighting spirit to help me succeed in my game.
