All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: I'm a late bloomer so my acheievments are unlimited.  2 years JV golf undefeated both years.  Coaches award two years in a row. 1 year varsity, named captain by coach, Co-Sunset League Champions.  Named 2nd team all sunset league.  Shared #1 & #2 spot all year.  Medalist 6 times.  Played every match for past 3 years, never alternate.
  2. Other Achievements: volunteer for variuos community services and feel I am a good citizen and neighbor.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I love golf and this summer I am following a strict 6 day per week schedule that includes cardio, stretching, practice 80/20 short game to long, play 18 holes, in addition to tournaments.  I am doing this in preperation for college golf and studies.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: The past 3 years of my Hish School golf I was a team leader.  Always grinding it out by example and encouraging my playing partners. When I became Captain of Varsity, I recognized that we could play better as a team if we could eliminate the drama of the past year.  We did so, rallied around each other and won our league.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: That is close to home West Coast that can provide a good education.  I really feel it is important to believe in your coach and the support system.
  6. My college goals are: To earn a degree and play on a competitive golf team.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: Is fair and offers opportunity through challanges.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: Short game.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: Fairway woods and hitting greens.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I have comitted to a heavy summer program and can see positive results of my efforts.  I have learned something from every tournament I have played in. I plan to keep up tournament play in the 2nd half of SCPGA tour.  I am eager to learn and my coach says that I'm a quick study and have improved well for only taking the game up the summer before my freshman year.  I know I will improve.
