All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:
I am proud of the fact that my golf game has consistently improved.  Though I have had my slumps I have been able to work through them and continued to be a better player. During tournament whenI have had a bad round I never give up and most often improve my next round significantly.

The highlight of my golf tournament experience was winning The IJGT event at Long Island National in Riverhead this past March.  The conditions were extreme with winds over 25mph, sleet, rain and cold. I felt I played my best under difficult  conditions and finished with a three shot lead over the second place winner.

In 2009 I was ranked ninth among 100 players in the MET PGA for Long Island Boys.

  2. Other Achievements:
I have made the Honor Roll for academics every year since 9th grade.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:
I have done well in school while participating and playing in numerous golf events.  The tournaments take time and practice that  involves managing ones time to include all other aspects of one life.  I think having the ability to manage and prioritize my time will be an asset to me as a student-college athlete.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:
i am a positive person and and I feel an important part of being part of a team.  Win or lose you have to keep positive and looking ahead and not behind at the last shot.  Also, though i always want to win and have the drive to do so, I am a team player. I am not out to win at the expense of my teammate and would and do take the time to help my teammates.  Lastly, integrity, I have seen many cases of cheating on the course,. that to me is inexcusable.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
i am looking for a strong academic school with a competitive  golf team.  My education is clearly a priority and to add the opportunity to be part of a team would make my college experience complete.
  6. My college goals are:
My college goals are to excel in academics, and golf.  I want my college experience to be a learning tool to help prepare me for my future.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
I am looking for a college golf coach that will be able to help maximize my ability.  I want to be challenged by a coach and have his expectations equal to or above my own.   I feel with the right situation and the positive reinforcement of a college coach I can achieve far more in my game.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:
I never give up and do my best to look forward to the next hole when I have had a bad hole.
I always think I am going to do great and approach each shot knowing "I can do this."
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
Though I am not one to show anger outwardly I do get angry with myself and frustrated when I am not playing up to my ability.  It is something I am woking on and try to keep in balance.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:
I feel I still have room to improve. Also, I am practicing all aspects of the game with a better understanding of what needs to happen as I improve my game.
