All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:

Over the course of the short four years that I have been playing golf, I have worked countless hours on the range and course trying to perfect my game. Shooting low rounds of 69 and 70 recently on Stoneridge Country Club. I also won the Charley Hoffman Award for the 2009 Poway High School golf team.

  2. Other Achievements: Outside of golf I have won numerous awards for the sport of lacrosse including the 2007-2008 MVP for the Poway High School JV team. I have also acheived high grades over the course of my junior year of High School earning a 3.2 and 3.6 GPA during the two semesters. I also earned academic recognition during this past year from Poway High School as well as the AVID program at Poway High School.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I believe that I will be an extraordinary student-athlete because I have taken numerous college prepatory classes including AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Poway High School. I also am a very diligent worker and I have consistant study skills.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: All of my life I have been on team sports such as; Baseball, Soccer, Basketball and Lacrosse. This taught me that it is not always how you do individually, but how the team does. This positive attitude that I have obtained over these years has made me not only a better player, but a better teammate as well. I always root on my teammates and give them advice anytime they reach out for it or are in need of friendly advice.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: I am looking for any golf program that is into working hard and is always trying to fine tune their game. I want to play at a competitive level and possibly compete for a NCAA championship. I have a never say die attitude and believe that any college could compete for a National Championship as long as they are willing to put in the time to work, and that is the type of program I want to be a part of.
  6. My college goals are:

Over the course of my college years I want to compete for a NCAA Championship, and also win at least one team Championship. I also want to graduate with high honors with a B.A. in Actuarial Science or Accounting. I also want to make a significantly amazing impact on one or more persons lives.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:

What I am looking for in a college golf coach is, that he/she gives me helpful advice in a time that I may be struggling. I also want him/her to be open to giving underclassmen the oppurtunity to obtain some experience.

  8. The strengths of my golf game are:

Some of the strengths of my golf game is length, and execution of tough shots. I am also very level headed golfer. I will not try and make a near impossible shot, unless necessary. Instead I would just play a safety shot out and try my best to scramble. Finally my short game is very fine tuned and am good around the greens as well as on them.

  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: Some of the weakness present in my golf game are, long irons into greens, and i also need to work on hitting more fairways than i do off of the tees.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I am always optimistic about the future, and no matter what the situation I always work on becoming a better golfer through practice, and experience. I know that i will become an elite golfer in the future no matter what anyone tells me because i have the will and determination to become the best i can be.
Personal Statement

I am one of the most determined people that you will ever meet. I am polite and respective to my peers as well as my elders. I will be the best golfer that i can become, no matter what obstacles come my way. I never take my eye off of my goal in life and in golf. I look forward to the future and what college i can compete with in search for a NCAA championship.
