All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:  I've gone to Junior World twice. Once when I was 8 years old, and another time when I was 14 years old. At the age of 6, I won the Austin City Junior Championship. I was number one at Hendrickson High School my sophomore year until I switched to distance learning. I have over a collection of 29 trophies & plaques, all 3rd place and up. I had my first and only hole in one in Summer 2008, on the 17th at Lions Municipal Golf Course.
  2. Other Achievements:  I was an Irish dancer for 3 years, and won well over 60 medals ranging from 1st to 4th place. In the past year, I've taught myself how to play guitar and now every Friday night, I sing and play guitar at a restaurant in Hutto, Tx. It may not seem like an achievement to some, but I'm very proud of it. From 4th grade to 8th grade, I was on the honor roll.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:  I have spent the last year homeschooling myself, so as far as studies go, I am very independent and disciplined. I'm hardworking, and don't like to take the easy way out of things. I'm very organized and have strict schedules about everything I do.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:  I am very positive and I don't like to see others beat themselves up. I will go out at anytime to practice with friends and teammates if it makes them better and more confident.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:  has a good medical program, and an exceptional golf team. I want to be able to actually bring something to the table for the team, and not just be put on the back burner because I haven't gotten to the point where I break 70 yet.
  6. My college goals are:  to give myself a higher education and to expose myself to a higher level of golf competition.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:  will push me to be better than what I am, encourage me, and not let me slack on anything; schoolwork or golf.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:  my putting and all around short game, and my mental game. I don't let any kind of pressure or competition change the way I play. I'm out there to play the golf course, and do the best I can as an individual no matter what.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:  distance. I don't hit the ball far, and when it comes to longer shots, I don't tend to hit them straight. It really kills me on longer courses, but it's something that could be fixed.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:  I spend 3-5 hours every weekday practicing or playing. I've always been a very determined person in everything I've done, so I do my best to try and be the best at everything I do.
