All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements: I have played for the Wells Middle School golf team all three years of my middle school career.
    I was awarded "Most Improved" my eighth grade year.
    I have participated on Dublin High's varsity golf team every year of my high school career.
    Each year I have played on Dublin High's varsity women's golf team, I have place second in DFAL
    I have qualified for NCS each year I have played for Dublin High's varsity women's golf team.
    I have competed in JGANC events ever since I was eleven and have placed in numerous occasions.
    This summer of 2009, I have played in many JGANC events and have placed in some, including:
    1) Del Paso; First Place
    2) Rancho Murieta Country Club; Second Place
    3) James Culligan Memorial; Second Place
    4) Round Hill Country Club; Second Place
  2. Other Achievements: I was awarded a second place ribbon in a swimming competition in Fremont Swim School.
    I entered an essay on Charlotte's Web in the San Francisco City Light's contest and won, recieving an award of 300 dollars.
    I took dance lessons at Yoko's Dance and Performing Arts Academy for seven years and competed nationally, placing on numerous occasions.
    I then competed for Cast and Company, also performing in national events.
    In middle school, I participated in the Wells Middle School marching band.
    I was awarded "Principle's Honor Roll" every semester of my middle school career.
    I have obtained an accumulated GPA of 3.7, and I am currently within the twelth percentage of my class.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I was awarded the "Scholar Athlete" certificate every year of my high school career, which shows that I can keep up with my school work while participating in a sport.
    I have played for Dublin High's varsity golf team each year of my high school career, while obtaining an accumulated GPA of 3.7.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: I am a very sociable person; I get along with almost everyone I meet.
    I like to laugh and joke around, especially with people whom I'm comfortable with.
    I like meeting new people; One of the reasons why I like playing in tournaments is the opportunity to see new faces and make new friends.
    I am friends with everyone on Dublin High's varsity women's golf team; we like to have a good time and are very encouraging and supportive of each other.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: fits my criteria in regards to location, size, and rank.
    I am looking for a university that is within California, so I can stay somewhat close to home.

    In regards to the golf program, I am looking for a flexible schedule, which provides me with enough time to focus on my schoolwork and occasional leisure activites.
  6. My college goals are: I want to major in computer engineering, while playing for the school's golf team.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: is relatable; he/she knows how to connect with their players and help them reach their full potential.

  8. The strengths of my golf game are: My tee shots; I am usually in the fairway, and on par 3's, I'd like to say I hit the green more often than not.
    My irons; I just recently got the right feel for my iron shots and I am hitting the ball much more pure than I ever was.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are: My short game, at the moment, is fairly inconsistent.
    Some days, I make all my pressure putts and make easy two-putts. Others, I miss more pressure putts than make and my lag putts leave me with a tough two-putt.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I practice my game every day, during both school and summer.
    I am very motivated to play college golf and am searching for opportunites to recieve a golf scholarship.
    It's hard to play a sport for a long time and just give it up; I will continue to work on my game until I feel like my full potential is reached.
