All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:  At Dove Canyon CC I have won the girls division two out of the last three years. Though other scores at  tournaments I have played in seem high, I feel very close to putting it all together. So often I have hit 13 out of 18 greens and shot 80 due to poor putting. Other rounds I have played 16 great holes and had fallen apart on just two.
  2. Other Achievements:  I volunteer a lot of time to fund raisers for the needy. I give a lot of time to Saddleback Church. I help my father when he attends homeless shelters as well.
  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: I know I need to work harder in college than i do in High School. I do work hard making sure I always give a 100% in most everything I do. My teammates know I never give up!
  4. I will be a good college teammate because:   I have always been recognized by my teammates as a positive link to the team. I enjoy the spirit of the game and the thrill of competition.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that: Will help me grow personally and allow me to focus on Golf and Fashion
  6. My college goals are:  To graduate from a college with grades I will proud of. To also enjoy that part of life before getting into the real world.
  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that: That can help with the mental part of the game. So often I find myself shooting 80 with two quads! I also need a coach to challenge me!
  8. The strengths of my golf game are:  Length off the tee and a pretty good short game.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:  Need some help with putting though my dad and I have been working on it recently. I also need some bunker help! Too often as I said I have a hard time recovering from a bad shot. I need to be smarter on the course.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:  I want it to!
Personal Statement
I asked my daughter to allow me to make a brief statement before she gives hers. I wanted to quickly explain why so few tournaments were posted this year. It has been a challenging 2008/2009 for us. As if going through a divorce wasn’t tough enough, I was also laid off late last year making life interesting to say the least. With little resources to play as much as she would have liked, I will still let my daughters swing speak for herself. She is in my opinion, a very gifted child. Our membership has been reinstated recently at Dove Canyon CC and Autumn has begun working on her game once again. As a proud father I think you too will be impressed with what you see. Thank you. I hope you enjoy the person you’re about to meet.

This is Autumn...first off I am thankful God has blessed me with not only a good golf swing but a wonderful father. I enjoy a lot of things actually. My friends, concerts, swimming, soccer. I have been involved in so many sports growing up as a kid. I have been everything from a pitcher to a goalie to shaking over a three foot putt. I even enjoy fishing! As I got older I knew golf would be the vehicle to help me though life. My dad always said I was gifted. I have a passion for “fashion” and hope to pursue that field in college and possibly a career afterwards.

I am excited about my senior year of High School...it should be a blast! But I am also looking forward to going to college as well. I know my grades need to improve for college but I am up for the challenge. Not sure what else to say other than I am looking forward to this opportunity and meeting new people.

Thank you,
Autumn
