All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:
I've been playing tournament golf for 2 years, and am happy to say i have accomplished more then anyone could have those 2 years. I have worked hard bringing my score down to 70's low 80's, and yet still not satisfied. Everyday I work determined to be the best, because I always want improvement. One major achievement I have had other then improvement is qualifying for the optimist, a national tournament in Florida. It was a great experience for me as were many others I’ve experienced in my time golfing. With all achievements in mind, it helps me realize how much I have accomplished with the time I've had.
  2. Other Achievements:

I do volenteer work every summer at a junior golf camp called latino junior golf association. There I help teach kids the game of golf and how to enjoy the game as it should be played. Along with that, as a freshman I played as starting pointgaurd for the undefeated freshman basketball team.

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: My work ethic in my education and in golf is well good enough to be a good student athlete. I practice hard until I feel satified that I put my heart into that days practice. Then when im done golfing a long day, I spend the time i have with homework and studing.
  4. I will be a good college teammate because: Having played starting pointgaurd for our school basketball team I was put in a postion where working as a team was first priority. I had to lead a team and get every player involved as it was the point gaurds job.
  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:
I am looking for a university and golf program that focuses on golf and education equaly balanced. I am going to college for an education, but I am also their to golf. Both golf and education are important to me, so a school and golf program that allows me to put the class and golf time in is a school for me.
  6. My college goals are:

My first priority for my college goals are focused on education. College is an opertunity to learn, but not only am i there to learn, i am there to golf. As I been doing for the last  2 years, everyday I will make sure that my golf skills grow. I am and will always be determined to be the best at the game and will do whatever it takes.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:
I am looking for a coach that puts education first before golf. I may be on his/her team to golf, but education should always come first. Yet still, i am also looking for a coach who is as competitive as I am. Always wanting improvement in their players, never settling, and always wanting to be the best.
  8. The strengths of my golf game are: The main strength of my golf game is my short game. If there's one thing I've learned is that my swing isn't always perfect. There will always be those days where we dont hit the ball as well that day, and that's where short game comes in. It's not how you score when your hitting the ball good, it's how you score when you hit the ball bad.
  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:
My weekness would have to be course management, for only playing 2 years makes me lack the experience others would have. It may be a weekness now, but given a little more time, it can become my biggest strength. Just lacking the experience is the only thing keeping me back from being great.
  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because: I definitely beleive my golf game will continue to improve, because I work to hard for it not to. As mentioned only playing 2 years of tournament golf, I felt the need to catch up to those who had more time. Practicing almost everyday since has gotten me to that competitive level. Working this hard to get to where I am today, whats stopping me from getting better.
