All About Me
  1. Golf Achievements:

I was the runner up for player of the year in the NJPGA points standings in 2012.  I have twice been a member of the NJPGA John Pritsch Memorial Cup team for New Jersey.  I was also named to the all county, and all conference, and all group teams as a freshman and a sophomore.  I was named freshman of the year by the Daily Record, and I placed 2nd in my Section at the Tournament of Champions in New Jersey.  My handicap is currently +2.4.  As a sophomore I won the County, Sectional, and Conference HS Tournaments, shooting 66 to break the State Sectional Record at Darlington GC. My low 36 hole tournament score is 138 (6-under par).  As a sophomore I was slected as the Daily Record Boys Golfer of the Year.  Over this past summer I also qualified for the Met Junior.

  2. Other Achievements:

I also run track and Cross Country.  I won the freshamn and sophomore Mile in indoor track and was selected to the all county team.  My Cross Country Team is ranked 8th in the state, and I was a contributing member of the team making the All conference team as well.  I was the ninth fastest freshman in the New Jersey Meet of Champions and finished 7th overall in the 1600m at the New Jersey State Sectional.

  3. Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer:

I am extremely determined and I have the focus and motivation it takes to play and practice at a high level.  I have plenty of room to improve, and I am willing and eager to listen to my coach and help my team in whatever way possible.  My swing is very simple, and I strive for perfection.  I will never settle for "good".

  4. I will be a good college teammate because:

I understand that team comes before the individual.  I only give positive feedback and I will always strive to support and encourage my teammates

  5. I am looking for a university and golf program that:

I am looking for a golf program that will help me to become a better player by through encouragemtn and challenging opportunities.  I want a school with a great practice facility and a coach that is excited about his program.  I also need a great acedmic support program, in my hopes to pursue a degree in engineering.

  6. My college goals are:

I hope to be a contributing memeber to a very competitive program which plays top tier golf programs.  I want my golf game to improve alongside my acedmic career in engineering.  I would love to continue playing golf after college, or at least make it part of my career somehow.

  7. I am looking for a college golf coach that:

I am looking for a college golf coach that sees my true potential.  Unlike a golfer from the South, my golf season is almost limited to 9 months of the year.  I spend 3 months training and practicing indoors, which is not the same as playing the course.  Playing at a high level in college would surely maximize my potential, and I hope my coach will encourage me throughout my college career.

  8. The strengths of my golf game are:

I would consider my strengths to be accuracy and consitency.  While I may not shoot under par everytime, you will rarely see me shoot above the mid 70's.  I recover quickly from a bad hole, and my mental game is second to none.  I play well under pressure, and my short game can always save me when I need it to.

  9. The weaknesses of my golf game are:

I would not consider any one part of my game weaker than the others.  I spend equally great amounts of time practicing every aspect of my game.  I recognize the real importance of a solid short game, but I have always considered myself a good iron player.  If my game has a weakness, it may be my distance, as I drive the ball around 270 yards.  However I can make up for this with accurate long iron play, and good touch around the green!

  10. I think my golf game will continue to improve because:

I predict that my golf game will improve for several reasons.  I have yet to finish growing, and I hope that growth will help my distance.  I know that I can improve upon all aspects of my game, by fine tuning my swing and short game.  Working on consisitency and being a perfectionist will get me to the next level.  My mental game also sets me apart from my competitors.  I have worked hard on handling high-pressure situations.  I have no doubt in my mind that with more practice and hard work, my golf game will improve.
